Talent & Workforce: Workforce Champions

The MPLS Regional Chamber’s Talent and Workforce initiatives bring together educators and employers to connect industry needs to classroom needs, students and job seekers to career exploration and job opportunities, and to accelerate the readiness and alignment of our workforce to meet regional workforce demands.

Workforce Champions establish themselves as an employer of choice, creating a pipeline of potential employees, while also helping all students and early career job seekers better understand and receive the skills needed for a successful career. Opportunities connect businesses to current and future employees through career exploration, classroom engagement for company and employees, work-based learning opportunities and advisory board participation.

Workforce Champions receive recognition at regional events, such as the Educator Externship, Talent Symposium, and career fairs, as well as homepage recognition and an enhanced profile on the Elevate Futures website (http://www.elevatefutures.com).
