Chamber committees are a great way to take your involvement with the chamber to the next level. Opportunities and time commitments vary by committee. For more information about a specific committee, please click here.
Members assist in planning this festive annual event held in January. Past themes have included “Vegas, Baby!” and “Broadway Your Way,” and the event includes a silent auction and entertainment. The committee meets in the months leading up to the Gala.
Annual Golf Classic
Members assist in planning the Golf Classic Tournament, held in June each year.
Through new member visits, ribbon cuttings and serving as greeters, ambassador support member attraction and retention at chamber events. Membership on this committee is limited. Interested chamber members should call for an application.
The DRIVE Committee focuses on developing tomorrow’s leaders today. This committee organizes events specifically relevant to young professionals.
Minneapolis Regional Ambassadors

Public Policy Committees
There are three public policy committees open to all those who are interested. The committees each focus on a specific advocacy priority of the chamber: housing, workforce development and transit. The groups meet once a month to discuss these issues facing our region and potential solutions.
Minnesota Keystone Program
The Minnesota Keystone Program celebrates local companies that give back to their communities. This committee assists in the marketing and promotion of Minnesota Keystone throughout the year and helps plan the annual Minnesota Keystone Celebration Luncheon in December.
Small Business Committee
The Small Business Committee works to engage and assist the chamber’s small business members. Additionally, this group advises on Small Business University programming.
