Northeast Minneapolis Chamber announces Northeast Celebration award winnersOctober 10, 2017The Northeast Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce and the East Minneapolis Exchange Club will host the ninth annual Northeast Celebration: An Evening of Business and Community Awards on October 26, 2017. This event will honor and recognize those that serve and support the Northeast Minneapolis community.
The Northeast Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce will present awards to the winners of the Business of the Year.
The winners are:

Chowgirls Killer Catering
Mississippi Watershed Management Organization
The East Minneapolis Exchange Club will present the award for the 2016 Officer of the Year and will also recognize the recipient of the Book of Golden Deeds Award.
The winners are:
Book of Golden Deeds: Bob Herrmann
Officer of the Year: Officer Lance DuPaul
The East Minneapolis Exchange Club will also present ceremonial checks to the following nonprofit organizations to support their work in the community: Eastside Neighborhood Services, Way to Grow and the Emma B Howe YMCA.
Attendees will enjoy a cash bar and complimentary appetizers. The event will also feature a cash raffle and silent auction with exclusive prizes from area businesses. Admission for this event helps support the 2nd Precinct’s Officer of the Month awards.
The Northeast Celebration will be held at Jax Cafe, 1928 University Ave. NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418. Tickets for this event are $40 and pre-registration is appreciated.
